The Network, Information and Computer Security (NICS) Lab is a research group of the University of Malaga (UMA). Founded in 1994, it is actually composed of 20+ persons, including faculty members, post-doc researchers, top PhD students, and technical and management staff.
 
NICS members have published 300+ papers, including 90+ in ISI-ranked journals. They have actively participated in international security committees and initiatives, as well as in the organization of international conferences and workshops.
 
They also have been actively involved in over 50 national and European research projects in the areas of critical infraestructures security, Cloud/Edge security, and Internet of Things security, including FP5, FP6, FP7, H2020 and Horizon Europe Programs. Over the years, NICS members have been specially active in technology transfer, and has closely collaborated with relevant companies as well as with public entities.
